A Contemporarily designed factory with manufacturing units for knitted garments. Use of large openings with high-performance glass to bring in ample amount of natural light and incorporating Energy efficient methods like solar hot water collectors, reflective paints, reduced window to wall ratio, etc have helped in achieving a gold-level LEED-certification. The design also includes two hostel blocks with G+1 floor that accommodates 500 people each which are EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater efficiency) certified. The clear-storey windows in the Central atrium facilitate passive cooling techniques like the stack effect and Venturi effect by replacing warm air with cool air. Water-efficient methods like low-flow water fixtures, rain water harvesting, etc have been implemented to control water consumption, thus achieving 51% of water savings.
